Tara Cariano - Mental health clinician

Tara Cariano is the founder of The Sanctuary, The Wholehearted Warrior, Wholehearted Counseling & Wellness, and Wholehearted Schools. She supports individuals on their journey toward living more wholeheartedly through an integrative, holistic, and heart-centered approach.

Drawing from her background as a yoga and meditation teacher, health educator, and lifelong student of Ayurveda, Tara weaves together mindfulness, somatics, and insight-based practices. Her work explores thought patterns, emotional awareness, body-based wisdom, and relational dynamics.

With a feminist lens, Tara holds space for women and gender non-conforming individuals navigating body image, identity, motherhood or living childfree, and sexuality. She offers a welcoming, compassionate space for healing, transformation, and deeper connection to self. It is her great privilege to support individuals on their life’s journey—and she is honored to walk alongside those called to this work.
